Sedation Dentistry
At Foundations Dentistry, we understand that dental visits can bring on a little anxiety—and we’re here to make your experience as comfortable as possible. That’s why we offer Nitrous Oxide sedation, commonly known as “happy gas.” It’s a safe, fast-acting option that helps you feel relaxed during treatment without the need for dietary restrictions or a driver afterward. It’s a great way to take the edge off and make your appointment feel like a breeze.
For patients needing a deeper level of sedation, Dr. Render Parkman is specially trained in IV sedation—ideal for longer or more complex procedures, such as wisdom tooth removal. IV sedation provides a deeper, sleep-like state for maximum comfort, and does require a pre-appointment evaluation, fasting beforehand, and a companion to escort you to and from your visit.
Whichever option fits your needs best, our goal is always the same: to create a stress-free, supportive experience from start to finish.
