Dr. Laura Parkman
Dr. Laura Parkman has been practicing dentistry for over 13 years. She graduated from the University of Louisville in 2012 and began her career in South Carolina while Dr. Render fulfilled his active duty commitment with the Air Force. After practicing in South Carolina and Georgia for three years, the Parkmans welcomed their first child and moved back to Louisville shortly thereafter to be closer to family.
Render and Laura became practice owners in 2015, opening Foundations Dentistry in Middletown and shortly thereafter expanding into St. Matthews.
While her training and experience span most facets of general dentistry, Dr. Laura has pursued extensive advanced training in facial esthetics, traveling across the country to learn from master injectors and stay at the forefront of new techniques and products.
Dr. Laura has developed a strong focus in orthodontics, particularly with Invisalign, and is a Pearl Invisalign provider, reflecting her advanced experience and case volume after progressing from Gold status. She continues to train nationwide with the American Academy of Clear Aligners and has expanded her scope to include airway-focused dentistry and early intervention care. As a Myobrace-certified provider and one of the only general dentists in the area implementing the Invisalign Palatal Expander, she offers advanced solutions to support proper growth, airway health, and long-term function, with a passion for helping children improve sleep, breathing, and overall development.
The Parkmans now have three children, Lilly, Wells, and Georgia Mae. Outside of the office, Dr. Laura enjoys planning family adventures, watching sports, and playing tennis in her spare time.
